Jay Pratt

Founder and Director

Jason “Jay” Pratt, graduate of Union University, has lived and worked in Myanmar since 2004 and speaks fluent Burmese. He provided aid and relief after the 2008 Nargis Cyclone in connection with BGR and Samaritans Purse. He also worked to provide assistance after the 2015 Nepal Earthquakes for immediate relief and now oversees GCN’s 45 staff members.

 
 
 

Justin M. Lovan

Co-FOUNDER

Justin Michael Lovan, was raised in the Space Coast of Florida where his father and grandfather worked with NASA.  It was in Florida that he developed a love for science and chemistry.  This background in science led Justin to give his passion and energy to provide clean water, solar power and to train Myanmar people to develop their own communities.

Justin has provided relief aid from Hurricane Katrina in the US state of Louisiana, to the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami.  He has led various development projects while serving in various relief volunteer groups.   He also was Project Manager for Rylan Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S.  Justin is the GCN director for Southeast Myanmar and Thailand and an active member of GCN’s Board of Directors.

Justin values his time with his family as well as training Myanmar people to strengthen their solar energy sector.  Justin has committed this portion of his life to empower to Myanmar communities and train teams to access clean water through well science and hygiene trainings. 

 
 

Carl White

Chairman of THE Board

Carl is a coach with extensive experience in Southeast Asia and the United States. He has spent two years in Southeast Asia and has a strong background in training and coaching individuals. Carl has traveled and trained people from various parts of Asia and the U.S. Today, Carl continues to leverage his coaching skills to support individuals in their personal and professional journeys.


 
 
 

Mason Turner

Mason Is the operations Logistics Officer for GCN. Mason is based in Southeast Asia as a full-time volunteer since 2019. Prior to joining his current team he worked at a different Southeast Asian-based NGO managing a wide range of projects and managing visiting teams from around the world.
